Welcome To The Grand Illusion
“Welcome to the Grand Illusion, come on in and see what’s happening. Pay the price, get the tickets for the show. The stage is set, the band starts playing. Suddenly your heart is pounding, wishing secretly you were a star. Don’t be fooled by the radio, TV or the magazines. They show you photographs of how your life should be but they’re just someone else’s fantasy. So if you think your life is complete confusion, cause your neighbours got it made, just remember that it is a grand illusion, and deep inside we’re all the same… We made the grade and still we wonder who the hell we are.” Styx, Grand Illusion, 1977
Talk about being all one is common, yet to know life beyond the grand illusion is rare. Descartes identified perception as res interna vs reality, res externa. Much like Socrates who lifted ancient Greece out of skepticism and relativism, with great awareness backed by math he showed a verifiable truth or essence exists. In spiritual literature, the ego is used to denote, various levels of perception. The nature of the ego is dualistic. (ie: I am here and you are there) which hides reality from our perception and fuels fear based getting behaviors for survival and happiness.
Perception is correlated to our level of consciousness. Like iron filings flying through space attracted to a magnet, those with similar levels of consciousness flow together. This is visible throughout nature as schools of sardines and flocks of starlings all with the same level of consciousness, act in animalistic survival mode and flow together as a seeming single unit. Hence, through the process of attraction to that which is similar and aversion to that which is different, we end up surrounding ourselves by those who confirm that the illusions we see are real. There is one main conversation happening in cafés around the world: “this is how I see it” and “yes you are right”. Everyone else is wrong or not as enlightened. The stage is set for misunderstandings, competitions, hurts, errors, trials, conflicts and war with friends, family, neighbors and all others.
To this end, our mind is not equipped to distinguish truth from falsehood. We have all had some realizations of what we once thought to be true, is not so true now. This reality is also detectable via spiritual growth, intuition, revelation, realizations, experiences of Grace, or with applied and behavioral kinesiology, psychoenergetic science, HRV, EEG’s and other measuring applications.
With the dualistic ego in charge we compete for food, land, shelter, love and lovers. Physical animal attraction, infatuation, glamour, desire and fear based mating rule. There is no need to get upset or feel any guilt for our animalistic inheritance as it ensures species survival. We also often enjoy the daily tribulations, dramas and joys of life from our dualistic view. As we begin to identify with oneness we can realize that we are never alone and love exists at all times if we choose to align with it. Our egos may get caught off guard at funerals when we get a hit by osmosis of the real love of the family that was always there. We feel it too, as a strange sensation in the heart and lump in the throat. Love and the peace, under the noise, are the nature of reality.
David R Hawkins MD realizations that all truth of all time could be known and calibrated furthered Socrates and Descartes advancements and left him with a great responsibility to share this mind numbing advancement with humanity. As such the world renowned Scale of Consciousness that measures the truth of anything in the Universe and books such as Truth vs Falsehood evolved.
The greatest enlightened mentors of every religion have all advised that the Almighty mentor is omnipotent (all powerful) omniscient (all knowing) and omnipresent (in all things). Science shows that something has to come from something that already exists. It is useful to contemplate the depth of all that we can see that exists and to know that it all comes from something that exists.
We are intelligent and conscious so that had to come from something that existed. Even single celled creatures possess the intelligence to move toward safe environments and away from toxic ones. As multi-celled life forms joined forces and evolved so too did their collective intelligence. Multi-trillion celled humans are very intelligent and can be educated in advanced sciences. Yet there is an innate intelligence that all animals possess a billion times more intelligent than the most educated on Earth. Equally available in the cow and the dog, the sinner and the Saint and the fool and the genius, it orchestrates synchronistic actions with trillions of cells to seal a cut in minutes. This is done without us needing to think about it. Intelligence exists in everything in the Universe.
In this Universe, it takes about 8 minutes for a beam of light to travel from the sun to the Earth. In one light year that beam of light will travel 6 trillion miles. When we look up at the sky and see the cloud like Milky Way, we are observing the galaxy that our solar system is a small part of. What is hard to conceptualize is the size of The Milky Way galaxy which is about 100,000 light years wide. That beam of light will speed at 300,000 kilometres per second for 100,000 years to travel the length of the Milky Way. The Earth in comparison to the Milky Way is like a pebble of sand in comparison to all the sand on Earth. The Milky Way too is only a pebble of sand compared to the known Universe. Thanks to Hubble we can now see about 200 billion galaxies.
This massive Universe continues to expand from emptiness at or beyond the speed of light. The kicker though is that this massive Universe is only a speck of dust in comparison to the Almighty beyond form. Advanced Physics suggests that the energy in a cubic centimeter of empty space is greater than the energy of the known Universe. This is the intelligent infinite power that the Almighty is.
We often perch ourselves on our grain of sand, together with 8 billion other microscopic ego’s, and with collective intellectual pride and vanity we wonder if there is any intelligent life out there.
We can choose to live in the past with all our issues or live on the edge with the infinitely creative Almighty. It is common to live in our comfort zone of issues, habits and beliefs of what is possible. Society’s circle holds the belief that over 3000 diseases exist out there and spends a trillion in that war. Everyone follows comfortable with the social validation, lifestyle and jobs that belief supports. Everyone gives to charities looking for cures and preachers pray to God to rid disease but no one sees God already cured disease. Our intellect is not equipped to see this reality so we remain enamored with our thoughts and beliefs. Everyone does it but it’s an ineffective and boring way to lead life.
Our efforts in that war has benefits but we have repeatedly shown it is far more effective to just do one thing and dive in here to the source of where the alleged disease is happening and build up our resilience to all disease. What a trillion dollars can’t do, the Almighty can do in a heartbeat. All disease is based on illusion, but the suffering associated with it is real. For those interested in aligning with the intention to alleviate suffering and help others be the best they can be, this work can provide a life-long purpose. This is an invitation to live fearlessly outside the circle of what we know, contribute our unique evolving gifts and together discover what new realities will manifest with Samyana.
Have you ever been around someone that sucks the living energy out of you and others that lift you up? That is the real power of our spiritual state. Science has confirmed we become the 4 peeps we spend the most time with and that's why the Saints through time advised to keep holy company. Effectiveness of healers varies greatly, as it is correlated to their level of consciousness, capacity, experience, intention and devotion. The best have become the healing fields, acting as conduits & we get the benefit by osmosis.
Samyana = Vehicle of Peace; Voyaging Together
In July 2016 a little bird needed some help exiting the Chapel of the Holy Cross in Sedona. The bird had been frantically attempting to escape out the tall windows that do not open. She needed to feel at peace prior to allowing herself to be escorted out. Fortunately the Chapel was filled with the essence of Peace.
It was four years earlier on Monday July 2, 2012 that I had another moment at the Chapel. At that time I decided to spend a few months in Sedona as it felt my mentor was ready to transition. July 2 was my birthday and having surrendered the attachment to worldly goods, I felt no need for gifts, celebration or to even tell anyone. Much like St Francis who felt the glory of life, even without clothes, I was enjoying the freedom of living for months with only a small bag of clothes. I still owned stuff but wasn't attached to it and I didn't want anymore stuff. The prayer of St Francis was my go to. To be an instrument of peace is the only thing I asked for.
That Monday, I went on a pilgrimage and walked for a few hours from Red Rock Loop Road through Oak Creek up to Cathedral Rock then from there to the Chapel of the Holy Cross in time for the 5pm Taize service. It was a long hot walk in the desert and I was soaked in sweat. I was pretty high on life at that time so the walk was fairly effortless and I didn't bother bring any water with me. Nonetheless I certainly enjoyed re-hydrating with the bottle of water available at the chapel store when I arrived.
As the service started I took a look at the front cover of the bulletin with the date July 2, 2012, a memorable day that marked an entry into a new decade of life. Without looking inside I realized that inside the bulletin was my gift and I started to weep tears of joy. I was reminded again that somehow there was a presence that knew everything going on. Sure enough I opened the bulletin and all the songs and readings were devoted to Peace. I balled from the opening song "Dona Nobis Pacem" (Grant Us Peace) right to the end. There was a realization that my wish in life had been granted.
The "State of Peace" on Hawkins Scale of Consciousness calibrates at 600, a level where healing is immanent. So many cool things happened over the next few years including being an instrument for spontaneous healings, an instrument for documented healings, a discovery of an alignment with the life of St John Bosco & providing blessings/healings with Shakyamuni Buddha Relics (LOC 910)
Now in July 2016 I was feeling that I needed to further devote myself to teaching others this spiritual healing work and that in order to do so it would be necessary to give it a name so that people can identify with it. So I wrote out several of the names that came to me. I showed a buddy in Sedona a group of about 12 names and he picked Samyana. I then showed a friendly lady I just met at Whole Foods a list of about 30 names and she also picked Samyana. So that is how the name came to be.
Samyana in sanskrit means Voyaging Together and also means being a Vehicle, a vehicle of peace, as well as a vehicle of knowledge. This is a name that summarizes the work I devoted myself to. We are all in this voyage together and everyone has a role. Medical and Naturopathic physicians, physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors, massage therapists, energy healers, priests, ministers, rabbi's, monks, spiritual healers and every other form of traditional and natural therapy has a role. The more we allow ourselves to align with the higher truths and the healing states of unconditional love, compassion, joy and ultimately peace, the more effective our time in service to others will be.
With Samyana we learn to step outside the tiny circle of what we know and be willing to continuously grow, to purify ourselves, our intentions and our motives in order to align with and eventually become the healing states allowing ourselves to be vehicles of divine grace and peace. In this way everything we do becomes more effective. Samyana is something anyone can learn and add to their practice.
There is no promise that a treatment will be effective, as there are many contributing factors to the effectiveness of healings. Nonetheless to give the works some credibility and distinguish it from other forms of natural healing, I documented 28 straight treatments in a row, and patients reported only what they experienced immediately. They reported that 100% were effective and that over 100 different mental and physical conditions were immediately eliminated or significantly improved. To read the study and conditions improved or eliminated click here on The Study
There are so many people in need, that I can keep myself busy 24/7, so it would be better to teach others how to practice Samyana. So a few days back I added a Samyana page to my personal website. I'm devoted to helping others that wish to learn Samyana. Samyana is ideal for anyone in any form of traditional, holistic and natural medicine and therapy that is interested in doing the utmost to help others in need. It is perfect for anyone that has a private practice such as Osteopaths & Certified Massage Therapists that wish to add a non physical form of work to their practice. Samyana can be of great assistance to their clients and take far less time and physical effort than a traditional massage.
It is also ideal for Yoga pilates, fitness teachers and studio owners that wish to provide group Samyana treatments on a regular basis to their clients. In this way they can provide an invaluable service to their existing members and draw new people from the community to their center.
There are so many of us that are so devoted to helping others that we will spend ten years in school and spend hundreds of thousands of dollars in tuition to be of service to others. Although patients have reported that Samyana is more effective than any form of treatment they have ever been exposed to it won't take years or thousands of dollars in tuition to learn. With focus on the critical without fluff, those with good intentions can learn to practice Samyana in a few days without cost.
I am willing to personally train anyone with an established practice or anyone highly interested.
